Fleurbaix B & B is only a short walk to Sherbrooke Forest  and Sherbrooke Falls with its towering mountain ash trees and fern gullies. Visit Olinda Falls Picnic Ground and walk to the Olinda falls or  visit the Arboretum. Superb gardens abound in the area and many are open to the public. Enjoy a train trip on Puffing Billy, visit William Ricketts Sanctuary or The National Rhododendron Gardens or just browse through the many craft & speciality shops in the area. Nearby Sassafras and Olinda have many quaint tea rooms and first class restaurants.  Visit the famous Skyhigh at Mt Dandenong and view the lights of Melbourne.

History

 Fleurbaix B&B is named after a small village in France
where a battle was fought during the First World War
and where many Australian service-people fell.
The original owner of this house lost her father at Fleurbaix.
She chose to name the house in honour of his sacrifice and to
re-affirm the beauty of what had been a beautiful, peaceful place.
